东义大学创建于一九七七年,开始仅有六个系四百多名学生,历经五年一九八三年发展成综合性大学,这在韩国的私立大学中是前无先例的,二零零二年招收新生四千多名,研究生四百多名。目前东义大学已经培养出三万三千多名本科生,成为了社会的栋梁,东义大学是培养高级人才的名门私立学府。

* 入学资格及要领 Admissions Eligibility and Requirements
1. 新生  Undergraduate Freshman Applicants 1)申请人应当具备高中学历或同等学历，申请人及其父母都应持外国国籍。 If applicant and both of the applicant's parents are not citizens of Korea, the applicant has to be a graduate of high school in or outside of Korea. 2)申请人应是外国国籍，如申请人的父母中一方持韩国国籍，该生应在国外就读两年以上高中学历。If applicant is not citizen of korea and one of the applicant's parents holds a Korean citizenship, the applicant has to be a graduate of high school completing at least two years of high school education out of Korea. 2. 插插班生 Undergraduate Transfer Applicants 毕业于国外的小学、中学、高中，在国外就读两年以上本科者或具有同等学历者，可插班三年级。An international student who has received his or her entire elementary, junior high and high school and at least two years of university education at a four-year university (or another Bachelor's degree program) outside of Korea or who has school education equivalent to the one mentioned above is eligible to transfer to the third year of an undergraduate program. . 3. 硕士ㆍ博士 Master's or Doctor's Program Applicants 申请人应在国外就读小学、中学、高中及大学本科或具同等学历。申请人应持有硕士学位。An international student should have completed the entire school education from elementary to undergraduate in a foreign country or countries or the education equivalent to the one mentioned above. 3. 签证注意事项 Notes on VISA 应持有(D-4)签证方能在韩国滞留六个月，申请签证可在自己国家的韩国大使馆或领事馆申请;如在韩国居留的外国人可在当地出入境管理局个别申请。我们国际语学院向申请韩国语讲座班的学生中，缴纳讲座费、身份证明无疑着颁发入学许可证。Anyone who stays in Korea for more than 6 months should have his or her VISA (D-4). Foreign students should apply for it in the Korean Embassy in the applicant's own country, or if it be extended in Korea, they should individually apply for the extension in the Immigration Office located in any port. The Institute issues the admission to a securely identified student who applied for admission and paid the tuition fee.
